Our Story
Ayde Pijamas are not just garments for sleeping — they are a hug that travels from Colombia to wherever you are.
The brand was born from the love between a mother and daughter, separated by distance but united by a shared purpose: to transform challenges into resilience, and nostalgia into fabrics of care and love.
My mother, a strong and talented woman, has been making clothing in Colombia for over 20 years. I, her daughter, arrived in Canada as a refugee with big dreams, a master’s degree, and a path full of challenges: a new language, unrecognized titles, and the need to start from scratch.
From this intersection of perseverance and the desire to support my family from afar, Ayde Pijamas was born: a brand that carries a piece of Colombia to the world.
Each pajama is handmade in Colombia with luxuriously soft fabrics like silk-touch and peach skin, designed to remind you that you deserve rest and self-care. Our packaging is crafted by a small family workshop led by a single mother, honoring our roots while supporting traditional artisanal work.
But our purpose goes beyond comfort: we want to empower and support single mothers in Colombia by providing dignified job opportunities, fair pay, and meaningful work.
Every stitch and every detail is created to remind you of the most important truth: self-love is the greatest gift you can give yourself.
